ScottishPay / Hourly ⇄ salary
Hourly ⇄ salary. With Scottish take-home built in.
Turn an hourly rate into a yearly salary — and see what you'd actually keep after Scottish tax — or flip it and find the true hourly value of a salary. Generic converters use rUK bands; this one doesn't.

How the conversion works
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × weeks per year. The default 37.5 hours and 52 weeks matches a standard full-time contract with paid holiday; if you're not paid for holiday weeks, drop the weeks figure. The take-home line then runs that salary through the full 2026/27 Scottish (or rUK) bands, so the "per hour" take-home is what an hour of work genuinely puts in your pocket.
Estimate only — not financial advice. Standard employee case for 2026/27 (standard tax code, under State Pension age, single employment). Doesn't model non-standard tax codes, benefits in kind or multiple jobs. Check your payslip; speak to HMRC or a qualified adviser for your exact position.
